Jerry Bergheger hails from the Quad Cities, and he was born in Rock Island and graduated from Rock Island High School . He met and fell in love with Agnieszka in Italy , and they now reside in the Quad Cities with their family.

Jerry has been in the restaurant business for over 20 years. His formal training and graduation was from the Culinary Institute of America. He went on for additional training at:

He brings back to his local bistro style Atlante Trattoria (pronounced At-Lan-Te which means Atlas in Italian). Atlante is located at 140 18th Street in Rock Island .
